Giving Hope Children's Home Project & Trip

In February, 2014, we will be partnering with Giving Hope to build an orphanage in Kumasi, Ghana.  This project is open to those who are interested in joining us in Ghana.

Overview:  During our time in Ghana, we will be doing the following activities: building an orphanage, welcoming the children to their new home, visiting village churches and schools, maintenance to retreat center, maintenance to schools, first aid classes, vocational training, and much more. 

Our host is New Testament Assembly, Ghana, and Bishop Frank Agyapong.  (We have been partnering with NTA since. 2003.) 

We will be staying at NTA's retreat center which is around the corner from the orphanage.  The retreat center is clean and modern, with private baths in each room.  The common area includes a kitchen and meeting area. 

Dates: February 10-21 (These dates are subject to change.) This trip is by invitation only, application required.
            and
            February 24-March 7 (These dates are subject to change.)  This trip is open, application required. 

Cost: $2,800: Includes airfare, ground transportation, room and board, visa, and deposit.

Deposit: $500.00  100% of this deposit goes towards the project.  The deposit holds your place, and is due upon the approval of your application.  This deposit is non refundable.

Additional Expenses: Passport-required
                                     Yellow Fever vaccination-required
                                     Travel Insurance-recommended
